Hello! I'm Marina, and I'm so glad you are here!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work and certification in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. I have specialized training in trauma-informed care and work with individuals and couples across Texas through virtual therapy. I created Rooted Reflection to offer a space for meaningful reflection and growth, where you can slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin moving forward in a way that feels steady and supported.

I believe meaningful progress comes from looking at both the individual and the systems around them.

Who you are and how you feel are shaped by your relationships, your environment, and the experiences you have had over time. Therapy is not just about changing you. It is about understanding the context you are living in and how it has shaped your patterns, your stress, and your responses. My work is grounded in social work values, including respect for each person’s lived experience and a commitment to providing care that is thoughtful, ethical, and inclusive. Therapy is not about becoming someone new. It is about understanding yourself more clearly and creating a way forward that fits your life.

Sincerely,
Marina Randall, MSSW, LCSW, PMH-C

I often work with clients who have tried therapy before and felt stuck, like they were talking about the same things without real change.

My approach focuses on understanding the patterns underneath what you are experiencing, not just managing symptoms in the moment. We look at how past experiences, relationships, and environments have shaped the way you respond now, and how those patterns continue to show up.

I bring together my clinical training and experience in a way that feels practical and usable. Therapy is not just about understanding concepts. It is about making sense of what is happening in your day to day life and becoming more aware of your patterns, your responses, and what actually helps.

Approaches I may integrate include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Mindfulness and body-based awareness
  • Parts-informed work (Internal Family Systems)
  •  Trauma-informed and attachment-based approaches

This work is thoughtful and direct, but it is not rushed. There is no expectation that you need to have answers right away or that things need to be fixed quickly.

We move at a pace that allows for real understanding, while still paying attention to what is not working and where change is possible. Even when things feel complex or long-standing, change is still possible.
